  • The best answer to this would be as soon as you have a venue and date! We take deposits on cakes for up to 24 months in advance, and on rare occasions, with as little as four weeks notice. The sweet spot to reach out and get the conversation rolling, is about 8 months out from your big day! Click here to find out what our availability looks like on your special day!

  • Yes, Absolutely! We cant hold our availability on any date for anyone without a deposit. Therefore, if you are waiting to secure our availability until you know exactly what you would like, you may risk us booking out on the date of your event. All we need in order to put together an invoice for you, is the date and location of your event, and what size cake or package option you wish to proceed with. Don’t stress though! All invoice details, including cake size and package option, can be changed up until two weeks before the event date.

  • Hang tight! We strive to reply to all enquiries within 4-5 days. We also provide a phone number with all initial enquiries. Please feel free to shoot us a text at anytime, to arrange a time to chat.

  • You have the option of locking in your order with either a 30% deposit or full payment. Our availability on your date is not secured until a deposit is received. If you opt to pay the 30% deposit, you will receive a reminder email to pay the final instalment exactly 2 weeks before your event date. All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Please see our terms and conditions for more information on this.

  • Absolutely! Cake tasting boxes are available for pick up on select dates throughout the year.

  • If you are after a cake design that fits into one of our wedding cake packages, pricing is very straightforward and can viewed here. If you are after something a little more unique, click here to fill out our enquiry form, including a description of the design you’re after, and we will be in touch soon with your custom quote!

  • Premium flavour selections are priced separately per tier so that our couples can opt to have only one, two, or all tiers in premium flavour selections.

  • We do offer a section of delicious gluten free flavour options! Having said this, we work in a studio that also handles large quantities of wheat flour, and therefore cannot guarantee zero traces of gluten in any of our gluten free flavour options. We do not currently offer any dairy free or vegan flavour options, sorry!

  • Sure do! Everything is made by us, using the best quality ingredients we can get our little hands on!

  • We do not cover any of our cakes in fondant. All cakes are iced in swiss meringue buttercream. There are more than a few places in Sydney to get stunning fondant cakes- but not here, sorry!

  • Spot on, you are! Semi naked is a beautiful and very popular design, but it sure can be a finicky one to put together. Unfortunately both our carrot cake and chocolate mud cake are too soft and crumbly to get our signature clean, crumb-free semi naked look!

  • The buttercream filling flavour you choose can not be seen from the outside of the cake, so feel free to choose which ever flavour you like, no matter the design of the cake! The flavour of cake you pick will only affect the look of the cake if you opt for a semi-naked finish (in which the layers of cake peek through the buttercream). For example if you choose red velvet, layers of red cake will be seen through the buttercream and may or may not fit in with the over all design. Please keep in mind that chocolate mud and carrot cake are not suitable for a semi-naked finish or the base tier of a tiered cake as they are naturally too soft and crumbly.

  • Yes! Delivery fees range from $30 to $350 based on distance. Fill out our enquiry form and we would be happy to advise you of the delivery fee for your venue.

  • Yes and no! We do not allow anyone else to prepare or place florals on our cakes, as it can pose a food safety risk if done incorrectly. Additionally, these finishing touches are often the entirety of the cake design, and something we really pride ourselves on as cake designers… not just bakers! For the large majority of cakes that leave our studio, we source the florals ourselves, using floral inspiration images and descriptions to match them to your venue florals as closely as possible. Having said that, if you would like your florist to supply the flowers for your cake, so that they match 100%, we can accomodate this as well. This does incur a small prep and application fee. Additionally, while we will always strive to arrange the supplied florals as you have requested, it is important to keep in mind that we are at the mercy of the quantity and quality of flowers provided to us on the day, and because of this, we may need to make last minute design changes accordingly.
